Thought I'd post some pictures of an undressed Ryker that was on display at the dealer conference. You can see the belt cover pretty well in a couple of the photos, and how minimalist it really is. Very simple, very clever design

I think he meant the cover for the CVT belt he mentioned in another post about maintenance. The big black plastic bit in photo 3 that looks like it's off the back of a washing machine!!

Yes. The crank is aligned with the chassis, the CVT drive clutch runs straight off of it (see pictures from the rear) so there isn't much "loss", it goes thru the belt to the driven clutch pulley, which powers a very simple forward/reverse gear box. There is a lever on the left to select either F or R, and above, near your left knee, is a lever to lock it in "park". Of course the output shift of the gearbox turns the driveshaft to the rear differential. As for the 600 vs 900, it is simply a matter of 2 cylinders or 3.

Does the lever have to be held in the reverse position is does it lock into reverse? I'm interested because I have a prosthetic left leg (full length) so couldn't operate it with my left foot, but I could reach it to move it into place with my hand I imagine.

Undressed it kinda looks like it was built in China!

Some one must of removed the pics that you alluded to.....
Posting a link would be great.
This thread was started way back in Sept 2018, before there were too many Rykers on the streets & few had seen them in the flesh.... IIRC the pics shown were hosted elsewhere & linked in the OP - and I'd guess that for whatever reason, the pics on the host site have been moved/removed or the links otherwise garbaged!! So if you want to see any nekkid Rykers, cueman's suggestion re a search on youtube is probably your best bet.
That ^^ highlights just some of the hazards with 'linking' pics hosted elsewhere instead of using the 'Manage Attachments' facility provided by the Forum platform - if you link to pics hosted elsewhere you rely on the host site never changing their location &/or otherwise altering anything (or holding your pics to ransom like photobucket did a while back! ) AND you have all the hassles of making sure you get the sizes right & your readers/viewers will often have to select each pic individually to see them all, plus you'll never know if all your potential readers/viewers have devices that can adequately display those pics.....
But if you use the 'Manage Attachments' facility, all that becomes moot - the facility loads up your selected images & displays thumbnails that most viewers can see readily, so no sizing issues there; and if they want to look at all of your pics, clicking on & opening any one of those thumbnails will open all the pics in that post (5 per post limit I believe, so if yo uh have more, just put up another post. ) & allow your viewers to scroll thru them as they see fit! And the pics will always be available for all to see... well, unless the Forum has a major issue, in which case we've all got other viewing & posting concerns anyway!

I'm signed in, but not seeing the photos or links.....
As mentioned earlier on this page rocinante (post #53) it seems the links to all the earlier pics have gone - either moved/lost by the owner or the host site. So you won't get to see those.
However, you should be able to see the pics from Chris56, in posts #54 & #60 - if you can't see those, it's most likely going to be something to do with the set-up on your device, as everyone else seems to be seeing them OK?! Maybe you could try turning it off & then on again; &/or clearing all your cookies & history?!
