    Default fault code 0 P1781

While out riding today my check engine light came on and the gear gauge reads "E". I was able to use the hint posted by another rider to get the fault code to display -> 0 P1781. I don't suppose anyone has any idea what that means.

ugh! I was really hoping it was something like " the gas cap is not tightened..." But that does not sound like "not to worry go ahead and ride tomorrow"... I guess I need to take it in to a dealer on Monday... thanks for the info!

yeah it says that you have to disconnect the sensor and check for a change in the fault code. If the fault code stays the same, look for a harness problem. If the fault code is different replace the sensor.
