I sent an email but got no response. How wide is the F4 for the f3 25" with the new mounting? Is it wider than the f3 that I got a year ago??

    Default F4 windshield width

This is an important factor. Our shield is 29" wide if you measure straight across the back. On the limited and tour you sit far back from the windshield so you need it to be wide to break the wind and push it around you. That is why the stock and even the tall shield from the OEM does not work very well.
    Hope this helps.

This is my F4 that I bought last year. It's barely 26" wide here. Did I get the wrong one when I visited you? Maybe I should call.000f4.jpg

The F4 also works better for me than the Madstad in pushing the wind around you, Don. I set the Madstad and the F4 at the same height (level with my bottom lip), and get a lot more helmet buffeting from the Madstad. Maybe it’s because the Madstad tapers at the top by a few inches, I don’t know......and that’s not to say that the Madstad is not a great shield, it’s just that it doesn’t work as well for ME
