Question USB power in Frunk Area

Tried to install a two port USB module in the Frunk Bucket only find I could not re-install it because it poked out to far and would not allow the it to go back in. Does anyone have any suggestions to accomidate charging a USB headset while the helmet is in the FRUNK or is this a potential for a drained battery looking for any comments on the matter.

    Thanks in advance.

If you use the wires behind the frunk that are there specifically to power a 12V outlet they are hot all the time; ergo, you're going to have a continual drain on the battery.

    otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Default connect to a different fuse so keyed on only

We had the issue with it sticking too far out in the back to easily remove the bucket. I had our dealership install the USB port originally and after that we tried to remove the bucket for something (probably installing LEDs) and found that we couldn't. Apparently we could, we just had to be brutal with it and let the tabs in the back bend. I didn't like that so we modified the install so that the port sticks out further into the bucket. We used a small piece of black sprinkler pipe that needed to be split to fit into place, and we used a black zip-tie to hold it together.

Mine is wired to a fuse that is only on when the key is on so we don't have to worry about battery drain.

i have one of these518qH3sjw-L._SL1000_.jpgWaterproof 2.1A 12V24V USB Motorcycle Mobile Charger Socket.jpg in the frunk hooked up to the custom accessory circuit to the right of the battery. i stuck it on the lip of the inner frunk tub with trim tape.it only gets power when the motors running so i have a small flat usb power bank velcro'ed at the back of the frunk in the Recess hooked up to the usb charger.

If you have a battery tender port, they sell adapters for a USB hookup.
