    Default Unknown connector

    I have a 2012 RSS SE5 that has this connector that I've never noticed before,it's located at left upper control arm and if you look down the hole it has 2 female spade connectors that have dielectric grease on them....it appears to have never been plugged in so im assuming I dont need it but wanted to know if any one knew what its for....

    That is for the optional 12V accessory plug in the Front trunk. It appears you don't have that option but they are all wired for it.

    Thank you billybovine....I'll wire tie it up out of the way.Nice to know i have an aux power source if i need it.

    From the replies to your inquiry it is good to know.... I have a 2012 RS and it does not have one of those....

    Yes its a 2012 and I don't think mine comes with that connector. Will check not 100% sure.

    Hi sulaco,

    Re: Nice to know i have an aux power source if i need it.

    I am currently using that power source for some front lights that I added to my '08.

    FYI, it powers up when the ignition key comes on & powers down about 10-15 seconds after the ignition key is turned off.
