Default needing Monokey mount - Givi SR770

2009 spyder came with passenger backrest #: 219400350 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Can-Am-Spyd...-/172789173134 and a separate piece / monokey plate that must bolt into this. problem is no matter what topbox is on the plate, it cannot open fully. Givi SR770 seems to solve this. what are my options? anyone have an old SR770 laying around?

Are you trying to use the backrest and a topcase at the same time?

no. unfortunately, with these pieces, that is the only way to use topcase. per givi usa, need the SR770 Kit. or a fabrication of some sort
