I do like getting a 2018 for 23-24k Not sure if we should wait. I live in NC and prolly can ride most the winter if I wanted.

if you want great savings, get the 2018, 2019 will have to wait this time next year to get low price. only dash interconnect has interference!! maybe you can work past this.

AND YES YOU CAN RIDE ALL YEAR IN NC!!!! I mostly ride 2 wheeler, but do ride RT

Good luck. I am also in NC (Apex/Cary area), and love to ride year around. If you are able to get those kinds of numbers off a 2018, I would jump on it. Normally those deals don't come around until September, when the new models come out. Check out triangle spyders on facebook. We ride as much as possible.

    Papadukes,
I'm the one with the 10th Anniversary RT-L for sale.
If you PM me with your email: I'll send you more pictures of it.
If you have any questions about what you see: let me know what they are, and I'll answer them for you.
You might find some bikes for less money: but you'll never find a better bike than mine.

    And
If my bike isn't the right one for you: I hope you find the one that is, and real soon!

The info screens on the 2018 bikes are a big improvement over the earlier RTs...

I had a 2017 and now have a 2018. I love the new dash but its personal preference. In reference to waiting... why wait? If the price is right, go for it. You will love it.

I got my first close up look at the new 2018 dash, and I have to admit. As cool as the 2018 dash looks, I like the older ones better. Not a flashy, but easier to see. Good luck, I am taking my 2016 in for a new tire tomorrow morning.

Honestly I have no problems seeing my dash even in mid day and late day sun here in TN. It's possible someone tweaked the brightness setting on the class Spyder that was causing you some issues? I keep mine set at auto and I have no issues reading the gauges - but I also know the new dash isn't for everyone and its' layout is a big change from the older models.

If I were to choose between a 17 and an 18, I'd probably more look at color at that point as I could live with either dash.

Papadukes - this would be a great Spyder to get. Great bike and good seller. Bob Denman is legendary around here.

Well I did not buy one yet, Was a nice 2017 I like the gages but wife does not like the gps or the small screen. So we will be looking at a 2018- or might wait for 2019 but not sure I can afford the latest )

The 2019 will cost more early on. They usually don't make deals on the new stuff. Hard decisions to make. The 2018 dash has been discussed a lot. You will have to make up your mind on that one.

    Default Bobs or a 17

I suggest you consider Bob's as he put on so many add-ons to the anniversary model or consider a new 17 or 18. I don't think 19 will be much different except cost you more.

    2015 RT-Ltd SE6 and F3S SE6, both with a number of commercial add-ons plus my own tweaks.
