Default What did you do today

Wife:"So, what did you do today - ??"
    Husband:"I changed a light bulb"

Wife:"That's all"? I did the laundry, vacuumed the house, cooked three meals, and more, and you changed a light bulb?

    Husband:"Yea, but I filmed it."

That would suck if he dropped or forgot the bulb....I like money but not sure they have enough for me to want that job.

Just the drone view from the top is almost enough to make me wet my pants! I did climb to the top of an oil well workover rig one time, maybe about 100'. Project Manager was not happy when he found out since I was not properly trained to do it, but the workover boss let me. Did have a safety harness on. View from top was super!

Yes. Been there, saw that. We were climbing a 1,000 foot tower working on a Ham Radio repeater project in Forth Worth and Johnny was at about the 800 foot level, I was about 600 feet up. Johnny had a Crescent wrench in the "shirt pocket" of his overalls and when he bent over the wrench went tumbling out. He and those around him who saw it immediately started hollering "headache" on the talkies. I quickly attached my climbing belt to the tower, looked down and put my arms over my neck and head and cowered down in place. There were about a dozen folks on the ground at the base of the tower and they looked like agitated ants as they all ran away from the tower.

It was a very windy day and the the wrench hit the tower then bounced out into the wind, which then blew it back into the tower. It did this a few times before we heard a "thunk" sound and then it was quiet.

It took the ground crew a couple of minutes to find the wrench, which was stuck in the roof of one of the cars. The wrench was about 1/2 way open and the business end was in the roof, made two holes. When they described the car over the radio Johnny said "that's my car".

The ground crews then moved all the cars away from the tower...
