Soccer is dull
I always wondered why they all go so bananas when they do score a goal.

Noticed there always seems to be more action among the fans on the field? Like, look at these fans. There so easily amused.

I'll watch the football (soccer) hooligans if I want entertainment.

Depends...
Where you grew up and what the main sport was during that time. I can see where growing up here did not afford you this sport. I on the otherhand grew up where football (soccer) was the main sport. Being from south america we are not the same as the europeans in actions and re-actions though due to the world cup we are getting there. But then a sport that is played 90 minutes straight with only a 15min half time is always an action sport and therefore fun to watch. JMO...⚽️

I find soccer more exciting than American/Canadian football. That is like watching paint dry. It is almost as bad as basketball or baseball. Hockey is tolerable if I have nothing else to do.

I wasn’t much of a soccer fan until my kids started playing and I coached their teams for a bit. I appreciate the game much more now and enjoy watching.
Nothing will get me screaming at the TV like a Denver Broncos football game though. I’m an embarrassment to my kids.

Soccer is dull? -- Really? I guess you missed some of the matches in this year's World Cup then - especially the Japan-Belgium match. This has been the most entertaining World Cup Finals that I can remember.
Or you just don't have the same appreciation for the sport as the rest of the world has. I'll take soccer over baseball, basketball and (American) football any day of the week.
