Summer house cleaning....to suck or blow?
Decided today to clean my F3s radiators from all the bug debris.
My F3s has about 25,000 trouble free miles on it.....and want it to stay that way.
I was undecided whether I could suck out the dead bugs with my wet/dry vacuum or blow them out with my compressor.
I found doing both was best.
I also found out that my dogs came in useful keeping an eye on things.
I never knew the critters (the bugs and not my mutts) were clogging my heat dispersers.
A good guesstimate would be about 1/3 of my radiator fins were clogged.

I'll be checking mine this weekend, I do hose them out on a regular basis, but a good look see is due. PS good looking furry friends.

I used the vacuum first then used the compressor.

Bugs, Bugs, Bugs. I hate bugs. They get into tiny little places, die, and turn to glue. Blow em', suck em', squirt em', whatever you do, they return. The little buggers (except honey bees) ought to be outlawed.....

On my RTL ,bugs are all over the rads. Does someone sell or is the a DIY to cover the front with a finer screen . I prefer some thing that is easy to remove to clean .

Bug removal spray?
Now that I think about it.....
What if after doing the suck/blow thing could I have sprayed a dead bug removal spray to soften up the tougher carcasses?

I use this on my quads. Muddy rads are heat holders! Had to enlarge 3 holes on the Prairie cover to accommodate. Could not use a power washer because of the screen. A power washer can be used from the outside if you are careful to keep it perpendicular.
