    Default tool kit help

OK everyone, I could use a little help. I bought my first 2016 RTL last month and it did not have a tool kit. I bought what I thought was the correct one (see pic) but have no idea what the item was in the tool kit or how to use it.

    any idea?

Looks like a digital air gage.

It's the tire pressure gauge. Make sure there is a battery in it. Press the yellow button and stick on the valve. Pressing the yellow button multiple times will change the type of pressure reading you want.

It's the digital air gauge that sometimes is, and sometimes isn't: in the toolkit!
You got yourself the right kit for sure!

When I got my first used Spyder, the dealer didn't even know the "standard" location for the tool kit.

I found it strapped to the under side of the seat.

On the new RT, it is tucked in the bottom of the trunk.

I always like the "underseat" location best...
Although if they had ever just affixed the Velcro strips to their location in a permanent fashion: it would have made things easier!

    Default There you have it....

Do check it for the ones that came with the older models were notoriously bad. You never know how long the battery will last so that's something to check now and again...

I use those handy Velcro straps as a helmet strap extension to actually use the impossible helmet hooks. works great.
