Banner ad AI, not so smart
So get this, I watched a Culture Club video on YouTube today and now when I go to other sites, ones for software development, I get banner ads for gay vacations. Like...wth?

I stay away from the "other" stuff you mentioned.
Amazon might be a culprit also. Same thing.
But I question the AI. I watched ONE Culture Club video and I get hit with ads featuring oily hunks flexing in speedos
If I watch another, I will end up on every beefcake mailing list on the Net

If you don't want cookies and are tired of being tracked on the internet you need to get DuckDuckGo. It will keep unwanted cookies off your computer. They also have an app for phones and tablets.
Also it causes any problems for you on a certain web page you can turn it off.

I am not sure if that will work in the "YouTube World". They know who I am because I am signed in. I have an account so I can track my likes and subscriptions.

It's the price we pay for free internet. Will be interesting to see what happens now with the end of the net neutrality rules.

Well, Google tracks on their end. They have my email account and I use it to log into their YouTube. So it's their world, their rules.
