Thank you James for your suggestion, and installing them for me. I'm at 10K miles on them at 25psi on the front and 28psi on the rear. Ridden in just about every type of weather except snow/ice. Almost no wear on the fronts and minor on the rear. Kendas tire are the worst. It is funny to me that everyone agrees on this, but bases their PSI recommendation from these crappy tires to their car tire replacements.
Tried my Yoko's at 15psi and they were like soft water balloons. Hated it because even turning in my driveway was laborious.
2015 RT Limited: Fox Shocks - RonJon swaybar and links - BRP Comfort Seat - BRP Triaxis handlebars - Yokohama tires (26psi fronts 28psi back) - Centramatic wheel balancers - BRP belt tensioner - BRP Short windshield - CATdelete/Spyder1 attitude exhaust - Lamonster footpegs - sintered brake pads - LED TRYCLED lights - BumpSkid

Do you use the 175/55r15 for the front of the f3t? Not much clearance under the fender. How does it work out for you?

The Yokohama 175/55-15 tires we install are a perfect fit with all 3 fender types. No clearance issues whatsoever and no modifications required. Other brands in that size will not all be the same dimensions.

Do you know the diameter specs on these tires?
I was just told the Vredesteins are
We can tell you that a 175/55R15 Vredestein has a new overall diameter of 573mm, which is 22.5591 inches, and a max in service diameter of 581 mm, which is 22.874 inches.
I don't know what the max in service diameter means....

Some drivers can be successful with a single tire solution for their year-round mobility needs. To see how three new three-peak mountain snowflake-branded tires perform and what, if any, tradeoffs come along with this enhanced snow traction, we did a Real World Road Ride and Performance Track Drive.

No we don't.
People should use the "Advanced Search box" top right hand corner, below the Log Out, Settings, My Profile tabs.
I know there are new spyder/current spyder owners that join this site.

Agreed. I joined this site before getting my Spyder then spent 4 weeks reading and searching through threads, especially "The Do's and Don'ts" where it suggested reading the Owners Manual......Twice. Many questions can be answered by "read the owners manual" but most are not. IMHO that's no different than doing the child's homework for them. They learn little.
Many here, especially newbies (BTW, I consider myself a newbie), don't bother to do a Search or bookmark important threads full of answers, finding it easier to have someone else give them the answer. Even trying to Search would teach them how to Search effectively. That's the difference between helping and enabling.......and why there's hundreds of tire and oil threads

A month or so ago I went to the Federal web site and Fount the Formoza but could not find the Evo listed at all. Am wondering if the Evo has been discontinued. Easy enough to tell if someone would post a 2018 manufacturing date on their new Evos.
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

There have been comments & complaints that those tests were done using Cars not Spyders and therefore are totally Invalid ............ I've been to school on this and I feel they are valid .... I have yet to see a highly rated tire become a Crappy tire just because it's on a Spyder annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd I've yet to see a poorly rated tire become a Great tire when used on a Spyder ..... For Spyders using Car tires it's ALL about what PSI you are using ....... JMHO ( and probably Peter Aawen's also ) ................... Mike

Will this fit the 2015 spyder rt limited. Does the fenders have enough height and width for theses tires?
Thanks, Lois

I've run both the Federal Evo 595 and the Formoza. I prefer the Formoza over the Evo. On paper the Evo should be the better tire, but in the real world the Formoza is superior in ride and handling.

I have run both on the RT and I prefer the Formoza. That’s what I’m running on my F3T now as well. They handle great and should last you upwards of 30,000 miles. Another benefit of the Formoza is it is asymmetrical so you can rotate them without dismounting and remounting the tire on the wheel.

In truth, I think that since the stock Kendas are so crappy, anything else is a vast improvement!
FWIW, I currently have Kumho Solus KH16s on the 2014 RT-S. They work for me, but then I'm not an aggressive rider.
