    Default Checking your equipment

About 10 years ago I bought a vulcanizing tire repair kit and stored it in my bike. While on an MC trip a few days ago while gassing up a rider came in and said he had a flat. Finally! (I thought) I would get a chance to open the sealed package and test my tire repair kit. Long story short.....nothing worked! The Canadian biker purchased a car tire repair kit (those wormy things with a plunger) and off he went.

    Test your equipment!

    Default Good advise....

Many also carry the jumper packs that can discharge and when you need that boost it ain't there. Those tire pumps that are battery operated etc. You should check it all before long trips for sure... for the reminder...

Default Does anyone make a small jump pack.....

that can be stored in the frunk/trunk and be connected to a hot lead while the bike in running so it will always be charged and at the same time have protection against over charging?

Very good advice indeed. When you need the "emergency" equipment--it better be up and running.

Just had a nail in my trailer tire on Sunday. Joe plugged it in no time and we were on our way.
