F3S Battery tender
Where have you routed your battery tender wire from the battery to on a F3S? I would like to route it to the trunk but have been told that there needs to be a hole drilled and I am not sure how to make it water tight after that? Pictures please

I have a F3T, but think the frunk (front trunk) are the same for both the S and T. You do not have to drill a hole, or at least I did not. After I took the tub that covers the battery off, connected the pigtail, ran the pigtail up to the top next to the locking latch, and over the side. Then placed the access cover back on with the connector hanging out. I could have left the connector under the access cover, but did not care to. When I hook up the tender I just place it in the frunk where the helmet is (I take the helmet out), and run an extension cord to power it.

There is weather stripping around the opening of the frunk to keep water out.... ??? I have a hole drilled for mine (didn't like it sandwiched in between) about 1.5-2 in down from the top, no problems....

I ran the plug out the side near the suspension.

BUCKET

i ran the power cord tru the bucket, with a quick disconnect between the power port and the battery... that way, if/when you need to take the bucket out, you just unplug the cord and you're ready to go...

Ran my wire out the back side of the battery box, along the frame to the panel on the left side of the bike. Very convenient. (BTW, she is still for sale. Now asking $13,500.)

battery tender location
I installed a Lamonster dual power plate wired directly to the battery. then I added a cigarette lighter plug to the battery tender. Now when I need to plug in the battery tender it is easy.

Mine is the same as Blue Star, currently it's wrapped up for the summer season under the liner out of my way. When the riding season is over, I'll take it up and loop it over in the same way.

I did the same as Texas Al with the Lamonster dual power plate and run directly to the battery. It works great. Don’t even have to bend over.

+1 I took Highwayman's advice and did the same. works perfectly. the pigtail just hangs over the top suspension member. riding does not dislodge it, and it does not get close to anything hot. I just get off the spyder, reach down and plug it in....
