Eventually this will become my full-time home. Meantime, I'll use just enjoy traveling to Spyder and RV rallies in it. I have a call in to a local dealer of Hydralift.
Compared the the first and only one I ever had that is a rolling Taj Mahal.... We lived in ours for over a year till we bought our fist home in Texas and really enjoyed it....

Patti,
I am SOOOOOOooooooo....... happy that the deal came together for you!!
Congratulations, and there'll always be a spot for you at our campfire!
What are you goibg to put your F-3 on for the towing chores?
I'd like to suggest an Iron Horse Trailer...
They sure ain't cheap; but your bike is worth it!

I have a flat-bed aluma trailer I haul it with now. But I am going to look into Hydralift. There's a 5-wheel manufacturer in my town and they're a dealer.
Glad to see you new RT fits nicely in your toy hauler.
FYI, I'd recommend using two straps on the rear wheel, so it's secured to each side independently. I had some issues with mine like that on some rough roads in Maine last summer. It needed more protection against lateral movement of the rear end.
I had a toy hauler that was very tight fitting as well

I'll try it this way: this time... I know that the route we're taking is a very easy drive!
Thanks for the advice!
Oh! One more thing: it BARELY fits in the garage!
I've got less than an inch of clearance at each end!
(no wasted space! )
Our last toy hauler was tight getting thru the opening door. And on top of that I had to back it in because of the layout..!! Talk about nerve racking..! But just as you said “no wasted space”..!

I am guessing that it will not be your full-time home for a while as you still need to take care of your Dad. I hope that you enjoy it!

That's right, Dean. But its size is full-time-able.
Quite a step from the one I sold to you, huh?
Yes that is one giant step up from the one that I got from you. By the way I finally got a cargo pod for the front of the LL.
I love it. In fact will take a long ryde to the UP of Michigan this summer with it. Thanks for selling the LL.

If you enjoy living in an RV, and no longer have a stick and brick home, the financial side of things should be OK. Several years ago I was talking to some full-time RVers and I asked about the cost of living full time in an RV vs. owning a home. They said that all things considered, if you have only the RV the cost of living is about the same as it would be if you were living in a house.

I'm 66 now and God willing when I am 70, 'we' are going to sell everything (except the Spyder of course) buy a motor home and off we go …. If not I won't have to worry about it because I'll be with my maker …. In the mean time, I have my little lovely, my Spyder, my grandkids and dogs so I'm pretty happy with my lot … stay safe with your travels …
