    Default Parking Brake Switch Symbol

I tried a few searches in the forum, but wasn't able to find an answer to my question

My parking brake switch works great, but the symbol is almost completely worn off. A new switch (710002353) is $56, which is more than I want to spend for a new symbol.

My thought was to find an appropriately sized decal. No luck with Google searches on that front. I realize that a decal would eventually require replacement, but I could replace eleven $5 decals before I reached the cost of a replacement switch!

    Any suggestions or past solutions?

    Thanks in advance!

    Default Try this

Get some sticker paper for your printer and print up a sheet of them. If your not stuck on having the original Micheals (arts and craft stores) have a nice variety of vinyl letters that you could stick on.

Leather black solution spread over the key symbol. Wipe off the excess and you should have "new" printing. Unless, the emblem is worn down.

    Smile Blank Switch!

You could consider a blank switch as another anti-theft device. Or use a soldering iron to engrave a label into the switch rocker plate and then fill the engraved label with white paint. Never wear off again.

If yours is in the same position as mine, leftmost one, why bother; it shows your Spyder gets lots of use. Ride more, worry less.
