Found one thing don't like of 2018 F3L
I found one thing I don't like about my new 2018 F3 Limited, tada:
Checking and inflating tires
The location and shortness of the stems do not help. The rear is specially awkward. Any way got it figured out.
My dealer told me to inflate the fronts at 20 and rear at 28. The owners manual says as well 28 for rear but 15 for front. Is 20 the new spec for fronts or is my dealer wrong. Obviously, I will follow the OM until further notice. Any comments / advice from owners of 2018 F3L.
Thanks
JG

Well....
A lot has been said of this problem and for a long time now yet it falls on deaf ears. Seems simple enough to fix and many have changed the stems when changing the tire. I found a truck chuck works great but not always available on the road.
Tire pressure is a handling thing and the recommended pressure in your manual is a good starting point. Dealers will be giving you what works for them but you need to ryde your own ryde and find your best pressure on your own. Will vary greatly when changing to the automobile tires but if it helps on my RS I'm running 17 and 28. This may not be the best on the RT or the F3. .

experiment a little
JG:
You probably should try experimenting a little with your front tire pressure: work your way up or down between 15 and 20#. Find what feels best for your style of ryding. Just keep both fronts at the same level as you experiment. I wound up somewhere around 17#. I believe most find the rear works well at around 28#.

Don’t forget to check out FOBO. (Tyre pressure monitoring system Bluetooth to your phone). It won’t solve your filling issue, but you won’t have to get down just to check your tyre pressures.

EXT3NSIONS are fine, but when you change out the tires, have the shop put new, longer stems in... that's what i've done...

Is it definitive that they fit on the 2018 F3 Limited without extension stems?

I doubt that the FOBO will fit on your 18 LTD without extensions. If your wheels are like the 17 LTD wheels they won’t fit.

ez gauge and fobo
i have fobo on my new 2017 f3t. matte black.
they worked on the standard rim and i traded rims with a friend for his all black rims from a 2016 rt ltd. and they work on them as well without any problems.
best tire gauge is from best rest products... ez gauge. it has a long extension, a clip on adapter for your tire and another adapter to pass air through so you have a readable gauge of the tire pressure. here is the link...

but I can't find it. I bought this with the pump when I was riding a R1200GS. Don't have a clue where it is. Probably left it somewhere for someone to enjoy.
I bought a new illuminated digital one and it works great.

I have digital air chuck that shows .1 of a pound. The fronts are still a PITA though. Longer metal valve stems are in the future. I already changed the rear stem when I changed the tire. FOBO works much better with the metal stem in the rear.
