Need to trailer 2 Spyders an RT and F3 with saddlebags
Any suggestions?
Racking my brain trying to figure out how.
I measured a Uhaul car carrier and I can't get them both on.
Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

mention of a uhaul by the OP may mean no purchase is contemplated. That is likely a limiting factor for him,
Moving or travelling is not relevant-he wants to haul two Spyders, the rest is really none of our business, nor is his financial status. Most want to be frugal.
A search here found a few options. The posters in the linked threads have actual experience.

.
Most helpful would be advice from those who have actual experience with hauling two Spyders.

I have gone thru this. You really need an 18 foot trailer. U haul does not normally carry that size but the local equipment rental places almost always have them. You have to bring it back to where you rented it.

That's why I asked if it was a one-way trip.

Sorry for the delay.
We don't have a tow vehicle yet. Looking for one now. We are open to buying or renting a trailer. My wife is not keen on long extended trips on the Spyder, so the thought is we would trailer them to our destination, then use the trikes. We have a 13 year old daughter who would be riding with us which is why my wife is not comfortable on the long trips.

Thanks for the explanation Ron.
I think you would be better off buying a trailer, since the availability of rental trailers that would meet your needs is extremely limited. There have been other discussions (threads) on this topic. If I can take the liberty of summarizing the responses, I think you want to be looking for one of the aluminum trailers that are made for this purpose. I say aluminum because a trailer that size in steel makes for a pretty heavy load and then requires a larger tow vehicle than you might otherwise want.
Then comes the question of whether you would rather have one wide enough to accommodate some 'nesting' of the bikes, or a long one (18') that can be narrower. Maybe your parking area would factor into that decision.

You have several choices for trailers but they are all a little pricey. Check your local trailer dealership and see if they have any helpful Options. Rent, buy and then sell, buy and keep. Happy looking .
