    Default Stupid gas cap

Mine is stuck, all it does is click. I know it's been asked before but I couldn't find a thread in search. How do I get it unstuck? I have 0 bars left on the gas gauge!!

    Default Try this

Squeeze the sides of the cap while turning it. This has worked for me

Use a large set of slip lock pliers to squeeze the sides. When you get it off take it into an auto parts store of your choosing and replace with a Stant cap.

It finally came off, prob just too hot to take off? IDK...used a towel to give me more grip on it. I'm never gonna tighten it all the way again!

Should be a Stant #10835, but the number is from a SL post almost three years old.
