Barrett did this with CA a number of years ago. Would not service any rifles of Law Enforcement for the state of California because they banned civilians from owning .50 caliber rifles.
A few years later, Barrett came out with a rifle under .50 caliber that was more powerful. They also bragged about in ads just to piss off the LEOs in CA I think?
