2015 F3 what are wires for?
Just brought home a left over 2015 F3SM6. Next to the ignition switch on both sides are two filler caps. When I popped them open they both have wires attached. Can anyone tell me what the wires are for? Looking to put a USB connector near the bars for phone and GPS. Thanks in advance, Dan.

The left one is for heated grips, I think, and the right one is for fog lights. It might be the other way around, though.

I would use the Accessory port on the F3 for USB power not the wires for the heated grip and/or fog lights. Lamonster has products to extend your USB connector to your handlebars, see his video for more information - http://www.lamonstergarage.com/usb-p...ith-extention/.

No, those wires are for switches. There are three "customer accessory circuits" with separate fuses meant for anything you want, including the usb charging. One is located under the tub in the frunk, another one is under the rear seat, and the third one is on the side, under the left service panel. They are marked with a label "Customer Accessory Circuit"
