It has a large visor and I can adjust it to angle out direct sunlight. I also found out two things to make it more visible. I have mine on my right handle bar and when I wear a black jacket it shows in bright sunlight much better. Second, I found I can see it best when I choose the NIGHT screen for daytime use.
I have had trouble in Canada and the Smokies when my Google Maps was of no use, but this GPS has worked just fine EVERYWHERE.
Another thing it does really well is when it's just "on" and not navigating it shows about 15 square miles of terrain. I can't tell you haw many times I discovered many interesting things just off the main highway that I would have no clue was there. No way my Google Maps sees this much terrain on the screen. It loads maps off the internet from the Harley site and can record and share routes. Everything the ZUMO does for only $125. At that price I consider it disposable if it fails.

Keep looking on the internet you will find a 665 at a price you are willing to pay. Don't buy the $125.00 unit that Dennis in Lodi is showing. I have one and I never could get it to work right.

Keep in mind it is getting harder to get the harness for them cheap. They don't make them anymore.

Keep looking there be more popping up. I still have mine from my Harley I used on the Spyder now.

Looking at it I assumed it would fit in the same way the Zumo on my 2012 RT does. Is that how yours fits?

I am guessing you have a cradle now? or a harness on your 2012 for a 660 or 665?

The 660 harness will not be able to receive Satellite radio,weather,traffic

The 665 harness will receive Satellite. If that is why you are going with the 665. The 660 will work too but does not have the Satellite features.

Exactly why I'm trying to find the Zumo 665. I have the Can-Am branded 660.

Hope you have the correct harness as they are getting harder to find and pricey.
