    Default Side compartment won't open

Having trouble getting the left side compartment to open on our 2015 RTL. We've always had to lean against it and push in while lifting the latch, but now even that doesn't work. Right side works perfectly.
Hoping its a quick fix. Any ideas?
    Thanks!

First: Try pushing in against it a little bit more firmly...
If that doesn't do it: you'll need to get creative.
That back panel of the bodywork needs to come off.
But you need to open up the side compartments in order to do it!
I suppose that you could get it loose on the top and the right-hand side, and see if you could gently massage it out of the way enough to get to the adjusters...

    Good luck!

In my owners manual, under maintenance section, it tells you how to open side compartment.

It may need a cable adjustment. I had my dealer do mine. Quick, easy, and they did not charge me for it.

    Default Side case

    Nate,
open trunk. Peer thru the opening while you pull on the latch for the side that won’t open. Find the cable the latch pulls on, and using needle nose pliers, pull another mm or so until side case opens. Now remove the 8 screws that hold the panel on that surrounds the latch. The cable has an adjuster. Turn counterclockwise until the case opens easily. Lube everything with silicone spray, put back together. Call me if you need help; I’ve done plenty! Joe
