Are there no heated grips on your RT? Our 2012 had heated rider and passenger grips. There are many insulated gloves out there or you could opt for heated gloves, 12 volt or battery powered.

    Default And then....

If not going to the heated gear there is always the cold weather gloves used for skiing and snow that work well. Depends on how much cold weather ryding you will be doing and how often as the heated are the best. I have found the heated grips don't do much if your hands are exposed to direct air flow so we have heated gear dual control driver and single passenger. I need more heat on the hands than the body and the wife is mostly protected by me.....

Yes, she has heated grips, that was going to be a question for another thread though. When she truns them on she get the red light showing theyare on but then it goes out? I have checked all the fuses and they are good. any ideas thanks

I'm no tech so I don't know where to go from there, maybe a relay is kicking off.

Gloves are a good addition for both driver and passenger. I have a half dozen pairs or so--ranging from fingerless to waterproof, to heavy winter gauntlet type.

Also have the heated grips on both Spyders--but they don't help when it gets cold enough to wear the heaviest gloves.

Buy what suits you best. The choices are very good at most motorcycle dealers. PS. they don't have to be can am.

If you belong to the AMA Warm and Safe will give you an 20% discount on any purchase. BajaRon is also almost that good and he sells lots of other stuff also.

My wife rides as a passenger and has always been very happy with some fleece gloves she bought at a Harley Davidson dealership.

My passenger has perennially cold hands, especially when the OAT gets below 60 degrees. When the temps get below 55 degrees the heated gloves get put on. She uses these: https://www.warmnsafe.com/collection...-heated-gloves. Otherwise, she uses a heavy winter glove, usually with glove liners.

I use the Warm n Safe Ultimate Touring Heated Gloves. These have turned out to be the best winter glove I've tried, heated or not heated. Once, I had to wear them in heavy rain and they got soaked on the outside. My hands were dry and warm.

You are lucky My wife has cold hands all the time too, and unless it is going to be OVER 60, she won't even go !! OK, once in a while she will listen to me about what the "expected rise in temp on our ride will be",,,but I BETTER BE RIGHT And there is no benefit to discussing it

I have found Deer Skin gloves to be really good. Warm even when not lined. Elk is good too but a little stiffer......

Heated Gloves work well along with the heated grips..Never tried the passenger grips on my RT yet, but would think they are the same as for the driver grips and stay on as long as the switch is on.

If you have a Tractor Supply or Rural King farm store near by go check out the equestrian department. My wife has a very warm pair of gloves and a very nice pair of summer gloves both purchased in the equestrian area. Much less expensive than any motorcycle shop. For the rides below 40 degrees she breaks out the electric gloves and jacket liner.

I am sorry i don't have any gloves to recommend, but I know the feeling.
Since I am new to the spyder, but have rode snowmobiles in the past, I took my skidoo handle bar muffs off my snowmobile and installed them on my spyder.
They do look weird, but my hands stay warm and dry, and i can feel and see all the controls.
