    Default Motorcycle Lender suggestions.

Hello all, I am looking to fined a place that will work with me. I have found the perfect 2015 F3s for myself at about $14,700 with lots of extras (privet Party sell). I have possibly half the asking price in cash. I would like to finance around $9000 as to not use all cash reserves. I have good credit, but not working. I will be starting my new job any day now, but will not have time on the job. My wife has a good job, but credit is not as good.

I am looking for suggestions for lenders that others may have used in the past. I am looking for a secured loan if possible, as I think that would be easier to get approved for. Most places I have found will only do a secure loan for Harley. I was hopping others my know of a reputable place to go. Thanks.

Try Sheffield financial: They do a lot of Spyder Financing for the Delaers.
    Good luck!

Given your present situation, you may have to wait a while until your "credit score" improves a bit.

You can't always have WHAT you want WHEN you want it.......especially toys.

    Reality bites.

Have you just gone in to your local bank and asked? If you can show that you're putting that much cash toward the purchase, that goes a long way. Ya never know. Otherwise, look into credit unions. Our Spyder is through a credit union, and we both recently got different vehicles. Both dealerships used credit unions for financing.

Pretty sure I read he has good credit, just starting a new job. Nothing to do with credit score.

Local credit unions have always given me the best rates when I have financed a toy.

    Big lenders--not so good rates.

Thanks for all the input. I don't have a local credit union and not sure about my local bank, I was waiting for job to start. We have not had any problems getting are car loans. I have not had any problems getting personal loans. My wife though has 2 bad marks that only show on one of three reports. I have disputed them as they are not accurate, but to no benefit. Her dept to income is good, it is just those two things that get in the way and we can't seem to get past them to be approved. I was hoping with the money down and if we could get the loan secured rather then a personal loan then things may work out. If I was to sell my RS I could do all cash and we may do that, but the plan was to have two. I just think if we are down to one we would be better off with the F3s.

That's why I put "credit score" in quotes.
If you have no present source of income, your FICO score often doesn't matter too much.
Which is what he seems to be reporting.

Try an online credit union. Or has been suggested Sheffield.Someone will take your paper, tho you may have to refinance to a better rate once you have time in job.

Yeah I think that is the plan. Right now I am waiting to see if my online disputes help my wife's credit. Last time I tried they didn't go through this time they did. Fingers crossed the weather gets spring like, so my job starts. if both those come through before the bike is sold to someone else I should be good.
