    Default HD plate light.

I never did like the plate light on my spyder. Went to a Harley bike shop. Found a nice cats eye brake and plate light. Right now I only have it connected for the plate light. Looks great. Sometime I'll get around and connect the brake light.

Be prepared for difficulty. This may put the Spyder into limp mode unless it is LED. I'd test first before I spent a lot of time wiring.

    Good idea!
And considering the difficulty of wiring through the back wheel well, that's a really good idea!!

It's already done. No LED just a bulb#1157 just not using the brake element of the bulb. Rode last night without any trouble.

How about a picture of the new plate light?
