Fuse question
I’m in the woods as we speak camping. Plugged in the 12v air pump into the rear trunk plug of my 2014 rts and of course, blew the fuse. My question is which fuse did I blow, I think it’s 6 but not sure. Also, are there spare fuses in the bike, I haven’t had chance to dig in too tired from blowing up my stupid air mattress. Last question is what amp fuse, just in case there aren’t any on board and I have to run to auto store tomorrow. Thanks in advance as always.

It can be either 6 or 7 depending if you have the outlets switch or always on. 5 amp.

I packed a set of spare mini fuses and there is a 5 amp in my collection. So it looks like i know what I’m doing in the morning.
Thank you for info

For future reference; connect your air pump power cable to the battery tender connection (assuming you have one). Depending on your air pump, you may have to replace the cigarette lighter plug with a compatible connector. Or, buy an adapter like this;

How much current does your portable compressor draw? If more than 5 amp, you're running the risk of blowing more using the trunk socket. There are spare fuses in my fuse boxes, don't remember how many but there are some there, and I still carry a few more in my traveling kit. I also use the battery tender pigtail that is fused, 7.5 amp, for the compressor.

Reason: amplify
Artillery lends dignity to what would
otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Yes, My Rt has 10 extra fuses, 5 in each fuse block cover. Fuse 6 or 7, controls the power outlet in the trunk. These fuses are in the RIGHT fuse block.

Yes, the right hand fuse box had spares. I swapped out and was good to go.
