maintenance Advice
3 weeks ago I bought a 2015 RT Limited for $16,500. The couple had some medical issues that prevented them from riding anymore. In 3 years, they only put 1500 miles on it. So I got a sweet deal.
I am not sure if the miles were put on it slowly over the 3 years or if it set in the garage for a long period of time.
What maintenance things would you recommend going over even though it still only has 2500 miles on it. And YES, I have put a 1000 miles on it in 3 weeks. I love it!!!

Time to take it in for its first 3,000 mile service before the season gets busy
Have the Dealer do the first oil change and a BUDS update and you should be good to go if they go over it the way they should. I would have the brake fluid flushed next year, and oil changes every 6-9000 miles as you seem to be enjoying the RYDE!! Welcome to SpyderLovers!!

Personally, I'd want to get the oil out of the bike since you don't know the history. Whether or not you want to check the maintenance schedule in the operator's guide and do some of it yourself or get it to a dealer for a thorough 3,000mi service is your call.

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Welcome, welcome 👍
Welcome to the spyder world and this most informative site. You should have the owners manual or you can download one and in it you will find the maintenance schedule. Much of it you can do yourself but I would say that at the mileage you already have take it in for the first service then go out and keep enjoying the ryde. I have

I purchased a low mile bike myself. The first break-in period maintenance per the manual said to have everything checked out at 1600 mile. That's what I did. Fresh oil change, checked all fluids, tires, any recalls, checked codes etc. Took it to a dealer. My cost was $285.00. Glad I had everything checked out. I'll be doing most of my oil changes from now on. Just peace of mind to get it checked out from professionals for being a used machine.

What an awesome deal!!!
By all means have the dealer do the first service on it.

on your "find." I have to agree with others. Recommended first service on 1330's is around 3,500 miles. Oil changes then at 9,500 or ONCE A YEAR.
Based on time, you should get that old oil out, and the other things looked over. You are then good for 9,500 more miles or once a year.
