A question for the tech-heads
Hey guys, I have a 2015 F3 base model. Did not buy the S model because I don’t like the raised portion on the fenders. I would like to add the factory cruise control the S models use. I have been unable to locate the part numbers for the cruise control unit and would like to know if it can be added to the base F3. Anybody out there have any idea if it can be done and if so, what are the required part numbers? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just go to Can Am dealer & order a RH switch housing Assembly for a 2015 F3-S (right hand assembly has the cruise switch in it).
Parts guy can show you the BRP part & number.
Or Cheap Cycle has RH Switch Package for 2015 F3-S on line for $220.99.
Part listed under Steering #102; part # 710004146.
https://www.cheapcycleparts.com/oemp...23c82/steering
There is a connection right side wire harness, where you check oil.
Or the easy way, have the dealer install.
(Enjoy your Russell seat).

naw, thinking about the Deadwood trip. It would be nice to have by Sunday but I don’t think I can pull it off in that short of a time.

I did bought the "S" but have to admit there are a few buttons which i hardly use:
1. ECO button (don't need that, tried it once and never again, wasted effort if you ask me)
2. CC option, use it hardly. Expected to use it more often but do not like the way it reacts if you open the throttle anyway.
So my advice, think twice before spending a lot of money

CasN, I do a lot of long distance riding, after 8 or 9 hours on the road my throttle hand starts to cramp a bit. It would be nice to have CC to ease some of that.
thanks for your input.

Yes, I added the cruise control to my base model. BRP Part number 710004146. Its a simple remove and replace the right hand control cluster. Just plugs in.

I have a 2013 ST. I added a Atlas Throttle Lock to my Spyder ($135) works for me.
