That's correct. I Have the same unit. But with a Honda cable. Cable was $10.... Tom

These are really terrific brake controllers because you can dial in just the right amount of trailer braking to maintain stability. I have one in my Honda Odyssey for a light tilt trailer that is use for my 1400 pound Lotus 7 clone car.
