They look good. But it makes my arms and shoulders hurt just looking at it. To each his own I guess. A ex friend of mine has a harley with ape hangers on it. He loves them but he also has dumped in a couple of gravel parking lots trying to turn around.

He must have liked the idea of it, and he made it work!

Yeah, not my style either AK, but when you are 6’7”, with loooong arms, they would come to shoulder height and be bloody comfortable. My last couple of bikes have had apes, albeit only 14 or 16”, and that was such a comfortable position. I am between a rock and a hard place now. The current F3-L bars are a bit low, even turned to the highest position, especially now that the Daylong seat has lifted me 2”, but I don’t like the look of apes on a Spyder.

You're riding along and feel something walking around on your back. Slow down and look for a turnout. The jacket is pressing against the wasp now, the wasp starts to sting over and over. Find a turnout, forget to put down the kickstand, forget to take off your gloves to get the jacket off. You're doing a crazy dance alongside the road trying to get the jacket off, Hubby is wondering what you're doing.
I got good at fast turnoffs and doing the reverse order of the above. The jacket went to charity.
Bees are the worst! You have to pick out all those throbbing little stingers. Not fun and glad you lived to tell the tale.
Would rather have wasps than bees any day of the week.
Life repeats - I had the same thing happen to be with a Yellow Jacket ..... But mine was in my Full face helmet , you just have to live with the Pain until you can get stopped ....... Mike

Spotted this today as I was walking around my local town...The engine is obviously out of some small 50cc moped but I don't recognise it.
