Has the F3 been improved?
I do miss my F3. But it was a first year model and was nothing but trouble for me. So I wonder if they worked out the bugs.

A friend of mine has a 2015 F3S and loves it. It has been rock solid for him with about 9k miles.
I wanted more storage, but decided to make the switch to a 2016 F3T when the stereo and bags were added. I have owned it for only about 10 months, but have nearly 9.5k trouble free miles (knock on wood). My only request would be for more power. But I am one of those guys that want more power in everything.

While they are still essentially the same bike: they have made significant quality control upgrades, and added new models that DO offer new features.
Happy Shopping!

Our 2015 has been great
Jacque has nearly 15K trouble free miles on her 2015 F3S. There have been 3 recall items, but all were handled quickly and easily by our dealer, Sierra Cycles.

2015 RT-Ltd SE6 and F3S SE6, both with a number of commercial add-ons plus my own tweaks.

I had a 2015 F3S The only issue I had is that the Water pump started leaking, replaced under warranty. Other then that, never had a problem. Traded it in last year for a 2017 F3T because I liked the extra technology, saddlebags and windshield on the newer model. Rides about the same as the F3S. The F3S might be a little quicker since it has less weight.

I have the same bike a 2015 F3S and it has the exact problem and should be repaired this week under warranty. Other than that no issues.

I have one of the first 100 F3s built in early 2015. Bought it at Pit bull during Spyderfest 2015. It now has well over 20k miles and has generally been problem free. I do not baby it either.

You certainly had issues with your F3 and unacceptable repair times. Your hesitation to purchase another one is understandable.
But, there are enough of us on here with 2015 F3's that have been problem free and it seems you simply had a bad one.
You have a choice of 4 different versions of an F3 now so go ahead, fear not!
Perhaps a different dealer?

I understand. I purchased a Honda CRV, would never own another Honda because I had nothing but problems with it since day one. Other people would never own anything but a Honda.

I know, I keep hearing that. Perhaps my unit was assembled on a Friday afternoon just before a big drinking party.
I put a lot of money into myF3, a 10K down payment and another 4K of mods. That money is gone.

I've owned 4 Honda crv's over the last 15 years and not one of them so much as coughed - except the one that got hit by lightning while we were driving it! It still got us home!!!

More of the same!
Yep! I also had a '15 F3S. Loved it.
It did have a couple of problems all sorted out under guarantee.
The power steering failed and was replaced. Both front discs were replaced
as they had warped. Other than that it was great.
Took it for a service at 158 Performance late last year and ended up buying an ex-demo
F3T with just 200 miles on it for a HUGE discount and was given a generous
part exchange price for the F3S, more than I could hope to get even in a private sale!
On top of that they included the top case kit at no extra charge and they transferred all
of the extras on the F3S to the F3T (Foot boards, Lamonster exhaust and helmet hooks etc.)
free of charge. Here's the new one:
