    Default No Brake Lights

    Looking for a little input...

Just finished installing a ISCI Hand Brake on my 2014 RTL.
Doing the final adjustments and discovered I have no brake lights.
I have had a couple codes come & go, one for the brake pedal switch or bulb and a VSS code.
The little research I have done so far it would seem the VSS switch & brake switch are the same, welcome a correction on this if not so.
Can't say for sure if the lights were working before I started the install as I was in the seat when I moved the Spyder...
One question if anyone knows, if one bulb is burnt out will the other still light???
Signal, Emergency & Tail lights all work...
As the hand brake in it self doesn't tie into the Spyder I don't see this as the problem and I did remove it and tested the lights as well.

A couple other jobs done in the last week...
    Monster FI ECU Flash
    New Plugs
    Fuel Filter
    New Drive Belt

Thanks for any help on this!

One important fault that is also occurring is that the Spyder can be started in gear without touching the brake!

That last bit makes it sound awfully much like the activation switch (down with the pedal, originally anyway?!) is doing the wrong thing....

Maybe jammed on? Broken or shorted?? Or is it just a blown globe that's managed to short?? Innnterrresting one?! Sorry that I'm not being much help?!

It is a head scratcher, SpyderAnn suggested I listen for a click when pressing the pedal to hear if the switch is engaging, I couldn't hear anything when I tried that. I'll have a closer look this weekend and see if anything looks suspect.
