...absolutely NOT! That would e depressing. I will loose my arse in terms of $$ recovery, but there's more to making a vehicle totally unique than just $$.

FWIW, I think as long as it has the Ca emissions sticker, which Dan was kind enough to locate and post a pic of, the 7500 mile rule wouldn't come into play. That is just based on stuff I read on the interwebs so take it with a grain of salt. Folks on other 2 wheel sites also said it just depends on what DMV you walk into and who you get as to whether or not this will be a snag.

Actual - Real people on this forum have reported they LIVE in Ca. and have tried to bring Spyders in from other states ....you will NOT be able to bring in a NEW bike from any of the other 49 states ..... and a used Spyder must have either 7001 or 7501 ( check with Ca. This is an 8 year old bike with just a little over 5,000 miles on it. Were you building it up as a show bike or what? I mean, it looks amazing but hasn't been ridden much. As I said, I'm just curious.
