Wheel alignment symptoms
Hi, just wondering what would prompt spyder wheel alignment. Any symptoms like leaving handlebar to gauge spyder leaning towards any side?
Just a thought as mine will be due a service in few months.
Many thanks

Possible fighting to keep it straight on straight road.
Tire wear .
I am able to take my hands off the handlebars on a straight road and it will keep driving straight.
I am sure others will chime in

As stated above, tire wear is affected by alignment as well as tracking on the road. IMHO, folks primarily do it to eliminate the "nervous & twitchy" feeling on the road. Unfortunately, there is only a toe in/out adjustment on the front (no camber or caster) and left/right on the rear to get it aligned with the center-line of the byke. With no caster (affects tracking) or camber (affects tire wear) You are at the mercy of a compromise on the toe settings. Somewhere between quick steering (zero or toe out) and stable but more wear (toe in).... The alignment will change over time as suspension components wear and springs settle. As well as impacts with potholes or other objects on the road or heaven forbid curb shots etc! It would be a good idea to have it checked if it has been a couple years or a particularly rough journey...
