    Default Freedom trailer wiring

Maybe this was covered some where on the forum, I have installed a wiring harness on my 2016 RT that has a standard 4 pin flat harness. I’m thinking about a freedom trailer. Does anyone have any info if the connectors are the compatable or will an adapter be needed?
    thanks in adavance!

Well my dealership installed my trailer hitch and module last year on my 2015 RTS and it had a square 4 pin connector. I thought the 4 pin square was the latest connector. Unless the original poster bought an aftermarket module.

Yes I installed on the Spyder an aftermarket wiring harness. Now I want to use a freedom trailer. Is there an adapter or does anyone have the part number for the squareutstwouunt othe spyder and I’ll make my own?

Yes you can make a 4 flat to a four square.

Del City,Etrailer will have the connector to make. Or search and you can find them made up already.

Your local auto parts or trailer parts store will have the flat for sure and may likely have the square plug too. If not you can get the square from https://www.autozone.com/trailer-hit...set/276150_0_0. There are lots of suppliers online. Just do a search.

The wiring is easy. Just connected the same color wires together.
