Well I did it....
Traded my 2012 RTL for a 2017 RTL. On the 2012 the reccomended shift at about 5000 rpm. What is the concensus for shifting the 1330 2017?

3000-4000 for normal riding. Higher if you need to get there fast

When a lot higher is needed, shift down one gear and "punch" it. Don't happen here very often--but have done it a couple times.
I have never exceeded 90 miles per hour or 6,000 rpms. Just me--"Mr Conservative."
