A quick reference to the manual confirmed that the rear suspension is now fully automatic.
However, I quickly realized that the new location of the parking brake switch will require some getting used to, after moving the Spyder a few time in the garage to await the end of winter, I kept looking for the switch in the wrong place.
I keep turning on the heater expecting the parking brake to release or my frunk to open

The ride home was good. Still getting used to the new Spyder.
Again I want to thank you for all the help

Do you guys have a vibration, probably from the belt with the 1330 engine. I'm getting a vibration about 72 MPH.
I built an idler pulley for my 2012 so I didn't have the vibration

No but I rarely go that fast.
And....over the years, I've learned to ignore minor noises and vibrations.
If it is minor, it almost NEVER is a real problem.

I'll be sticking with my 2017 for a long while.
They did NOT get rid of the 12 volt plug in the trunk: mine has one!
My dealer installed a light in the top trunk, and I saw where it plugged in...

Weird, with mine the round 12 volt plug is replaced by a dual USB connector.
Unless it only the USB connector that the dealer would have inserted, I'll have to check more closely.

They also told me that I had to get a Sena 20S for communication with my wife , so I did and it works o.k. They also had to order a new cord to get the GPS, telephone, and weather to work. People told me not to buy a new model because of all the new bugs , but I didn't listen .
I plan on using a Midland Handheld CB with Sena SR10 Bluetooth adapter. I'll mount it to the center of the bars and the SR10 close to where I can touch the PTT button. I use a Uclear AMP Plus bluetooth headset and I use the cable that came with the phone or you can get a short cord from Lamonster.

Very strange that some 2018 RT's come with a 12V plug in the trunk and some come with a dual USB....

Is it possible that the dual USB connectors are an "adapter" that is plugged into a regular 12 V socket ??
An additional provided "accessory" on some models or in some markets ??

I pondered the same thing in my post from last night, even thinking that it might be from my dealer.
I just went out to the garage to check on my machine, the USB connector is build in, no way to pull it out and I also noticed that the cover has two tabs that fit perfectly in the slots of the connector, so it is made to be that way.

On the R/H side of the trunk is a hole with a rubber plug. Maybe some of them have a 12V connector there. Mine has a dual USB on the L/H side
