First questions re new 2016 ST-S
1. Aren't the front Fox shocks adjustable?
1a. If yes, should my tool kit have included the spanner wrench?
2. Does the frunk normally require such a hard push to close?
3. Seems the windshield has a "ripple" effect about 1/3 way down, across the entire screen...good thing it's below line-of-sight, but...

RT-S you mean?
Either way, I have a 2016 RTS. No adjustable shocks for this year's model. The Frunk should close well enough by just dropping the lid from the vertical position. If not, there is an adjustment in the cable, like the old brake cables on bicycles - inline screw adjuster. I don't know where it is on this model, I'm sure someone does, or google it - many YouTube videos on the frunk. Should be NO RIPPLE in the windscreen top to bottom!! Ask dealer to order you a replacement under warranty. Easy to swap out. Mine is crystal clear with no visual effects.
I have many posts about LEDs, bumskids, paint, etc. if you want to search. I added a lot of farkles. I feel safer with all the rear LED's and the high mount brake light kit!!

Regardless of which model Spyder it may be, in most cases where the frunk lid is 'inexplicably hard to close' when the frunk isn't over-full, it's usually cos the rubber seal strip has been moved or dislodged somewhere & is no longer positioned correctly all the way around the lip so the lid requires force to get the latch to shut. Refit the seal strip properly & you'll probably find it shuts & latches readily with little force.

a little lube on the latch works wonders, when it's open turn the key and you'll see the piece that moves, give it a drop of your favorite lube, work the key a couple times and you should be good to go

I meant ST-S...
Thanks for the replies!
I called the dealer today about the spanner wrench...they are going to send me one.
Will have to follow up about the windshield...and check the frunk latch and seal strip and try a shot of lube if needed.

Windshield follow-up...
I attached side and front view pics of my windshield...
In the side view pic, you can see where there is a slight curve near the top 2-3 inches...this is where I see the "ripple" effect...across the shield.
So with the shield in its lowest position, even though the top of the shield is below direct line of sight, if I look down, e.g. thru this area, this is where it looks wavy...the top inch or so and the rest of the view below this area is fine. If I were to raise the shield to a higher position, I'd be looking right thru this at the road. The screen is clean/clear.
Before I call the dealer...Is this normal?
