Several years ago I rode my Goldwing (2 wheeler) across the Southern California desert when air temp was 16F. I will NEVER do that again.

Certain parts of my anatomy disappear in weather that cold.

The coldest I have ever ridden is 25 degrees. This was before the heat recall work was done on my 2013 RT, & the Spyder loved the cold weather. Me, not so much. But it was a beautiful blue sky day.

Been there and done that. In the 60's, I rode my first MC when it was 20 below. A half hour was plenty thank you. Those days, the winter gear was snowmobile suits. I did not have one.

Now, my threshold is about 20 degrees (above). When riding becomes an "ordeal," rather than pleasure, its time to park it.

    Oh to be 20 again.

Several years ago when we both had the 998s we did a trip down the southern Oregon Coast on New Years, one of the days it never got above 27 degrees, my bride had heated gloves, pants, jacket and snowmobile boots so she was ok, I only had a heated vest so by the end of the day I was not feeling toasty. the next day is got up to 40 and I was fine.
The weather was clear for the week but cold. The Bikes ran fine .

It was 24 degrees this morning when me and my F3T left for work. Stayed nice and warm all the way to work (22 miles one way)
and no other bikes on the road.
In Florida this is very cold weather for us, but it won't last long, thank goodness!
