I’m deciding between either the BRP Cross-Country (219400696) or the Shad (219400721). They both look nice and the Cross-country ones would be nicer because of no mounting brackets & ease of removing, but they are more money than the Shad. Any feedback from people who actually have them & have used them would be great. Please attach pictures too so I can see how they have held up over time. Thanks
I have the Shad bags and have had them for over a year. I love them and they are 100% waterproof. I also have the inner bags that I can take into the hotel when on a trip.

I can confirm the same. Have them only mounted on longer trips. During my last 3 week trip i used them, had pooring rain but all my stuff stayed dry, no problem. Yes, also have the inner bags, The comfort of having those is money well spend (and still cheaper than BRP......)!

Thanks for the pics. They seem to sit higher & further out than the cross-country ones. Also they seem to be more of a hard plastic than a vinyl with stitching, which I think the plastic would hold up better. I’ll wait for some more feedback before pulling the trigger. Thanks again.
