    Default Handle bar tool

Just started to install a ram mount cell phone holder on my handlebars and discovered I don’t have a wrench to fit the bolt. In my metrics set six is too small eight is too big in inch sizes 1/4 is too small 5/16 is too big. Is this a special wrench? If so where can I get one.

Yup, a very odd size for sure - I believe that I found mine on Amazon.

I bought a 1/4" drive set of 10 metric sockets from Harbor Freight that has six pointers from 5-14mm. I have to use a 7mm on the GPS mount bolts.

You'll fine there are a lot of odd sized tools required to work on the Spyder's. 7,9,11,13mm etc.

Yep, Wayne.....it’s 7mm as mentioned earlier. Unfortunately, most common sets don’t come with a 7mm, and I have never found a single one. I had to shell out for an upmarket ratchet set to get one with a 7mm in it.

Why are my Auto parts stores “sick”, Mike? ...... oh, I see . Unfortunately, pretty much everything in Aus is smaller than in the US. Heck, even I am small by US standards.
