Twist fasteners?
Has anyone replaced some or all of your plastic/Tupperware torx panel fasteners with quick release fasteners, like the attached image, or with something similar? If so, what worked and your experience please.

They are called DZUS fasteners and there have been a few threads over the years mentioning them. Not much lately.
Here's an old thread in the DIY section showing how to do it....

DZUS
THIS TYPE, not sure if they were DZUS, were used on the Side-Panels on the GS/RS.... and i know of 2 people that lost their panels because the fasteners failed....

If they are not installed correctly then they deserve to fall off. Or if the lock tab is all Jacked up, then it will fall off too. JMO

Where would you put them they do still out some and would interfere with over lapping panels.

An electric screwdriver behind a Torx bit saves a good bit of time.

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Yes they have....
Just the panels that need removing for maintenance. The GS/RS/RSS and ST had the oil change panel installed with those from the fatory. They do stick out and get caught on things but make for easy access. The covered torx have to remain covered or go with the different head....
