Cell Phone Charger
Looking to take our second road trip this spring, we just stayed local on our first one. I was wondering if there is a way to run a cell phone charging cable up to the handle bars? I am looking to get an X grip etc. My Zumos worked well on the local trip but i dont know if I want to spend the money to update it. Thanks guys

on my RT-S I removed the temp and fuel gauges and installed a dual usb port on one side and a volt meter on the other. used the existing wiring.

i've had mine for over a year, and it works great....
you may also want to order a 9 inch power cable while you are at it....

I added a dual usb port to one of the speaker grilles, and a regular 12V outlet to the other speaker grille. I use them for the phone and the GPS. Wired so that it's powered with key on. Many have also replaced the analog gages as mentioned above.

You don't tell us year and model of Spyder. FWIW, if you wanted/needed to keep your gauges there is a wire harness connection behind the left side of the frunk on the '14 and later RTs (don't know about earlier RTs) for those who want a 12v cigarette or USB port in the frunk. You could run a cable from that connection point to wherever you desired in the vic of handlebars. Were I in your boots I'd do the voltmeter/USB replacement of the gauges, although with a 1330 engine I don't really see a need for a voltmeter.

otherwise be a vulgar brawl.

Phone Charger
If you have a Battery Tender connection in your frunk, there is an accessory that you can use to charge your phone or GoPro.
