Question CAT Pipe & Blacking it out

I'm wanting to keep my stock Cat installed and black it out but was wondering what would be a recommendation for a coating to withstand the exhaust temperatures I don't want it to burn off. i.e. Powder Coat?

    Default Let's see...

The easiest would be to go to your local car store and get some Header paint...they are usually good to 1,500° give it several good coats and should last you a long time. Easy to sand off and recoat if damaged by debris and shows rust down the road...

Pretty tough stuff, easy to apply and much less expensive than powder coat.

Send to Jet Hot coatings. One and done. I have had great results from them. Google Jet Hot for more info.
