99 out of 100 times the auto shut off will work.
It really sucks when it doesn't. Gas all over. I learned that lesson once on each spyder. Given the small amount of fuel we pump, you are best to not count on the auto shutoff.

I always use auto shut-off and it has never failed me.. Never 1 drop of gas on my bike either. just got to know what your doing..not rocket science..
