    can a battery tender plug into 12 volt outlet in trunk and work?

    Yup, provided you have the outlet set up to be "hot" all the time. If your battery is up in/behind the frunk though, I'd recommend just installing a pigtail for a tender directly to your battery, and let the pigtail hang in the frunk.

    My Battery Tender Jr. pigtail in the frunk is fused and is the same amperage as my emergency compressor fuse so it can do double duty should I need the compressor on the road.

    Default Yeah....

    We just had a thread on that...as long as the outlet is powered constantly you can charge through it. Many are switched and you have to swap the feuses at the #6 and #7. Some tenders come with the cig lighter adapter...
