I have searched and unable to find a weather cap for the Zumo 660. If anyone has one on an old 660 they do not use, I would like to purchase it from you.
Thanks

I assume that you have done a "Google search" for Zumo 660" and followed most of the likely leads.
I just did.....and followed a few......and it don't look good.
If nothing else, this thread convinced me to take better care of mine.
Is BRP still supplying a GPS with it's RT LIMITED ? If so, what model is it ??

Yes I spent hours following links all over. I did find it available in Australia but they don't ship to the USA. Yep, better not lose yours.
Since I bought a Kradellock I leave my GPS on the Spyder most all the time except when staying overnight on the road. The pictures below are of my Zumo 590 mount and the cap that came with it. I assume the 660 plastic cap is somewhat like the 590 one. Were I in spyderlady11's boots and left to my own devices I would get my hands on a piece of black plastic, take a hacksaw and my Dremel tool and some bits, cut it to the appropriate size and fashion it to fit the mount. Over a Colorado winter it would be a fun project. Heck, you could skip the plastic and make it out of a piece of hard wood. The hardest part of the job might be fashioning a rubber gasket to protect the mount contact pins. That gasket is the small rectangular one at the center of the backside of the cap.

BAD habit. Eventually it will be gone in 3 seconds or less.
From your pictures, it appears identical to the one for the 660; the mounts likely are the same.
A zip lock bag would work. There are other better looking options probably too, like a plastic coin pouch, maybe held on with a "pony tail" elastic tie.

I think the Kradellock was a good gamble. GPS has been locked on almost two years and 22,000+ miles -- lots of pit stops and meals. I am judicious about where I park too. Garage stored at home and GPS always goes into motel room overnight. Life's a risk.

Me too! But if there's only one then SpyderLady11 gets it.
Been serching high and low for it when some itchy hands took mine when i parked.
The Garmin 660 weather cap is not in production anymore and many places is out of stock.
Guess where i manage to purchase it...BMW Motorrad

Is that the plastisol or rubber cap?

Yes, is the plastic weather cap. I added a double sided tape magnetic phone holder with a phone band. So I’m able to use as a phone mount when I’m not using Garmin.
I'm not sure what I'm looking at but it's interesting.
I would think the 590 rubber cap would work too.Not the plastic snap in one.
The rubber cap is decorative. Not weathertight. I seem to remember the instructions say that you need to install the weather cap before the rubber one. The rubber cap will offer some protection, but I certainly would not wash the Spyder with only the rubber cap on.

It does cover the top of the electrical pins and that's how BRP delivers the bike. Well at least in my case. As long as you don't shoot water under it will be fine.
The plastic cover is a better water protective cover.
The 660 and 665 are discontinued . Also The Wire harness you will find but getting pricer ever day. Garmin has discontinued these models..
