    Default SE6 CLUTCH PLATES

I notice that the SE5 on the 998 motor is better off running 4000 rpm and up because it allows the clutch plates to fully engage. Is this the same for the SE6 on the 1330?

No the clutch on the SE6 is hydraulically activated.

    Default No....

The 1330 engine got the 6 speed transmission and the hydraulic clutch set up and run at a lower rpm as well. You no longer have to worry about the rpms when ryding models with the SE6 transmissions.... still lugging the engine is not a good thing.....

The 998 had a centrifugal clutch and RPMs needed to be maintained to prevent clutch slippage. the 1330 has a hydraulic clutch. this is the reason I moved from to the 1330. No worries about clutch and RPM.

..... However I can't see how an SE - transmission can be LUGGED .... If the revs or power requirements require more input .... the transmission is designed to Downshift, to accommodate this ..... Only the Manual could be lugged ...............Mike
